Florida vs New York in handling Covid

The media has been shitting on Desantis for months now while giving Cuomo a pass.
Fauci publicly stated that NY should be the model other states follow.
It's easy to see how political virus has become.

What’s stupid is they’re praising New York because it’s not as bad there now. They didn’t do shite to make things better there now. They’re simply through the worst of the virus. They got it before everyone else and they’re done. Now it’s spreading to other states in the south and southwest. But look at those death numbers. They handled it horribly.

Couple of major points -
We are much better at treating COVID now than we were when NY was hit. Every single health metric is different now than in March.
Where is the age data for the numbers?

It is truly insanity how the media embraces this imbecile as a great leader through this pandemic. Cuomo had the gall to attack the NYP, and WSJ as well as Texas, Arizona and Florida when his own state has had TWICE the total Covid deaths of those three states combined. 32,679 deaths tn New York as compared to 14,229 in the other three states which combined have TRIPLE the amount of residents of the State of New York. This demagogue forced nursing homes to readmit Covid positive patients, He refused to use empty temporary hospitals to house these patients until they were safe to return. Cuomo also refused to clear subways of the homeless who have proven to often be asymptomatic spreaders. Essential workers had to wade through the homeless crowded on the limited subway lines to get to work.
An interesting list is if you look at per capita Covid deaths in the United States the TWELVE STATES WITH THE MOST FATALITIES ARE ALL RUN BY DEMOCRATS. All have over 500 deaths per 100,000 residents. I am not saying either party has handled this correctly but that is a damning rebuke of these clowns like Cuomo who only want to blame others. If you removed New York and New Jersey from United States numbers we would not be in the top 10 Covid death rates in Europe. Cuomo's New York and Phil Murphy's New Jersey both have over 1680 deaths per million of population. That is higher than any country in the world. 48584 Covid deaths in just these two states account for a THIRD of the tragic 149600 Covid deaths nationwide while these states only make up 8.5% of the entire US population.

Two weeks ago Marist realeased a poll that had Cuomo with a 60% overall approval rating and a 72% approval in handling covid....
That's fricking insane and doesn't happen without a complicit media either covering it up or pointing elsewhere like ahem - Florida and Desantis.

I find it interesting how the journalist picked drastically different photos of the two men....desantis’ is relaxed and has a pleasant smile while cuomo has an alarmed look on his face. Journalists are manipulative as shite!
