Do you know the definition of racism? That's not racist. It's stupid to say, but it's not racist.

We've broadened the definition of racism to include anything that is claimed to be racially offensive by a minority race.

I got irritated with my barber, and to get a haircut elsewhere locally, I had to go to a black barbershop. First place I go to is run by a man who I represented in an election contest. He said he really didn't know how to cut my hair. If our races were reversed, this would probably viewed as something racist. I viewed it as he wasn't confident he could give me a good haircut.

I went to the black woman near my office, she gave me a kickass haircut.

In 2017 that's primarily due to 70% of black kids being born into single parent homes

I wonder why is that? Maybe the war on drugs? Racial profiling? Or any other tactic this country has used to attack blacks.

What advantage is that?

We brought black ppl here from Africa as slaves. And he said if you don't like it here, you can go back to Africa. As in if you don't like 'our' country you can go back where you came/were brought from.

Def not racist

I'm picturing some 30 year old unemployed white guy, taped up eyeglasses, pocket pen protector, calculator on belt tapping his white patent leather shoes as he pretends to be a person of color.

No it hasn't. Neither you or your parents were slaves.

The welfare state and thug culture. As late as the 70s, the percentage of black 2 parent homes was higher than whites

With those facts, yes. In this case, he was responding to people who are members of a "back to Africa" and an Africa focused movement.

Context is important.

Face it. Africa, with the exception of the ancient Egypt and the Moors of northern Africa, has been a dumpster fire for all of recorded history

You don't have to be a slave to be affected by slavery.

Good job on exposing yourself as a white guy

My Nigerian boss kicks arse and has no connection to antiquated concepts of slavery

It's funny how when you don't agree with someone they begin to assume things about you that couldn't be any further from the truth. Just admit it you are mad that I don't share the same sentiment as you and you do not know how to cope with it emotionally.

Care to share you're experiences as a slave in this country and how Jim Crowe personally affected you?

I'm seriously interested.

I can't speak for all blacks, but the ones I've oppressed personally were simply made to feel inferior due to inferior treatment. We usually just make sure that they get bad service at restaurants or don't get hired at good jobs. It's a lot of work, but I think it's worth it.

It was a go-to phrase used by segregationists against blacks back in the day. It's dumb anyway because you can't "go back" to a place you've never been.
