Well, it certainly questions his motives. Did he do it with a good heart, to only help those in need. Or did he do it for the likes? One is genuine, one is not.

While it is possible to do good deeds and still crave social media attention, it certainly takes a little bit away from the gesture.

No need to give it away, it teaches the wrong lesson. But if we could have some way for the kids to work off the debt, that would be ideal.
