But but but.....

The board has been filled with people bitching and complaining about the Coronavirus and how everything is shutting down.
There are some people who think this is a political thing. Some people think its an overreaction. People are bitching because their life is put on hold.
How about this? Personally, I think the government is doing a pretty good job with this. I am sure that is an unpopular take around here, but I get it. At first, I thought it was overreaction. I really did, but now I get it. It is mostly about resources and to not overwhelm the system we need to all just chill and do our part.
It's not the end of the world. If you woke up this morning it is a good day. Sometimes you have to sacrifice things. That's life. I hate that there are no sports on, but I get it. I hate that there are some people who are so fricking selfish they go out and buy so much of certain supplies that it leaves their fellow humans having to go around looking for those supplies because some a-hole felt the need to overstock. But what are you going to do?
Calm the frick down. Three months from now we will be back to normal (or getting there) and life will go on. Be thankful for what you have. Take a deep breath. Let it out slowly and just be cool. Like a HS teacher used to tell us "It'll be alright in the morning"..

Please, restrict me more government!

President Trump, yes, Donald J. Trump, just said in his press conference that he's annoyed by people still trying to go out to bars and restaurants and emphasized the importance of lives.
So, I dunno, I guess that makes Trump a raving socialist. Dunno who the Trump voters can turn to if they want to see some paradise of zero government.
A raving socialist would put a blanket quarantine over the entire country.
Instead, he is letting the states do their thing as needed.
Suggesting people do something is very different than mandating.

I think this is a terrific decision. Even though back in my days, I used to eat ecstasy and rave all night, I no longer do that so this is wonderful news to me because I live in the great state of Florida

Trump has granted your wish. Who will you be voting for in November?

So all these Republican governors are the socialists? Like this guy: LINK

How will an establishment be known as a bar or restaurant/bar?

Republicans love being authoritarian too
I don’t know what gotcha you think you have

Genuinely curious as to who you'll vote for... You seem to want some ideal of total hands-off government that simply has never existed in the history of this country.

Disagree, the Articles of Confederation we’re pretty hands off.

So, before the country was actually a country? The inclusion of the Commerce Clause in the Constitution that was actually enacted would undermine that argument.

Trump for now but if this goes much further and he keeps buckling, maybe no one

How will an establishment be known as a bar or restaurant/bar?
They can stay open
Bars/nightclubs don't have to serve food
They're closed
Almost seems backwards to me, but whatever, we're thru the looking glass anyway
