You step down from ground level. The "basements" always have like 6.5ft ceilings

Split level house got 9” of water in 700 sq st pool room that’s on the ground level. Rest of the house is fine. I already have a crew over here cutting out 2’ up and hauling off furniture. Tile floor so no worries there.

Pool is a disaster so that will take some time to clean.

Lots of other people around me not so fortunate

Just please no more rain

I live uptown and have a basement. It got about 6 inches of water, but I have a sump pump.

It's been storming the last 20 minutes in Slidell and it's headed for NOLA.
