My fly-swatter days from mom was from about age 4 to age 10. Belt days from my dad was from 6-12. My dads arse kicking days was age 13 for me. From 14 on, he never laid onto/into me again. Didn't have to. I would have it no other way. He did me proud imo.

I’ve experienced this multiple times over my 20-year teaching career. Kid misbehaves, parent comes to school and beats their arse. Not that unusual.

Dumbass. There's more ways to raise a kid than violence. Hitting your kid is worse than not disciplining them. Both are terrible for kids. The common denominator is shitty parents. Looks like the OT has plenty of those
