Sounds like a legal definition issue where an unconscious victim is neither forced or intimidated into compliance. If the facts didn’t meet the legal standard for rape, they should be demanding a change to the law.

lets be honest here, in america they would certainly be found guilty of rape and each one would get only 3-5 years in jail
so even though the legal reasoning denying it was rape is ludicrous, they got more then double the time in jail if the trial was in america

It was surely a general party everywhere thing, possibly ´las fiestas´ wherever they were (an annual, typically summer event, which each village, town, city, celebrates, and people are in the streets and wander in and out of bars, cafés, etcétera).

My belated condolences. If it´s any type of alleviant, these five are going to suffer in prison. Big time.

Nah, just poor decision making on my part. This girl was gang-raped, whether or not she remembers, who GAF, it's horrible. What makes people want to take advantage of young, naïve, elderly, drunk or otherwise able-bodied humans? I don't get it. I hope this young woman rebounds with force.
