At Sugarhouse Park in SLC
Last time I set füt in Sugarhouse Park it was 1981.

Last time throwing hands was in Tigertown when I was 40-ish and a couple of POS wanted to frick with a brotha in my posse. They ended up buying us a round after they tasted some parking lot asphalt.

The brotha was a straight-off-the-boat good dude.

When did defending yourself from an assault become "trashy"?

Jesus the pussification of this country is almost complete.

If you stay far away from trashy and everywhere they’re known to congregate in mass, the odds of you avoiding idiotic fights go way up.

They've grassed two parking lots at Sugarhouse Park in 2009-ish and made them, wait for it....

soccer fields. I shite you not. You'd love it. Back in the day the site used to be a prison, believe it or not.

Me and a couple of guys threw down with a table of Frat Boys a few years back..well I rolled around with one while my other partner in crime beat the living Hell out of 3 or 4 of them. The he proceeded to throw me out of the way and beat the ones arse I had been rolling around with. If you could have seen those frat boys faces when AC stood up..all 6ft 6in 290 pounds. We laugh about that every time we get together.

Thanks for the update, been to SLC since but not to Sugarhouse.

Folks who don’t know Salt Lake don’t know what they’re missing. Good place.

I was on the street three blocks away from SH Park the night Lennon was killed.

A guy on the street told me about it. It was just starting to snow...

No SLC sucks. Don't come here.

(Edit) I was only 9 when Lennon was shot, but my oldest sister made the tragedy a small part of my childhood memories.

There is a method to my madness. I don't want to wake up in a facsimile of Denver in 20 years. Repeat after me: SLC sucks.

How about Coalville or Delta?

Utah comes in under the radar due to the LDS component.

Its all awesome, and I love the culture. I'm not LDS either, I was raised Catholic. I've lived here as a home base since 1995 and I'll die as a Utahn. I gave up explaining to my family, who live in the south, why I insist on living here. The best way to explain it for me is that I feel closer to God here. It feels like home and I belong here.

Places like Coalville, Delta, Vernal, Springville, Roy, Provo even, are like any small town in America. You ain't one of them. Be nice and you'll receive the red carpet.

I mostly hope the perception of Utah continues, for my benefit.

I lived in sin pre-marriage with my ex-wife in a place on I street and 3rd ave.in the Avenues.

Do you shop at that Smith's in that 'hood? I miss that place but I'm partial to Harmons these days. Hit me up and I'll buy the first round.
