And the number of people decked out with full face shields walking around the airport is hilarious. This includes several families I’ve seen where young kids under 10 not only have masks but face shields too .

Rona sure does make it a lot easier to spot the morons in a crowd. Can’t let little Jaxson catch a cold and miss travel ball practice!

I don't know about being in an airport but airlines are saying being on a plane is safer than being in a restaurant or other closed space. They have enhanced air filters that they are running the entire flight.

I saw a mom and her two kids at LAX two weeks ago wearing masks, face shields, and tyvek suits

I flew aus-mia-stt and back in June and saw like one person in a face shield. Those things are silly.

Jokes on you. Full face shields are far more comfortable than wearing a damn mask the entire flight.

Of course they're silly, but so are neck pillows.

However, 2 hours into a flight you'll wish you had both.

You can take it off when eating or drinking. They hand you a bag of food and water bottles when you board plus drink service in first class is the same as it was before. My mask was off the whole flight.

No, neck pillows are trashy, and I’ll never buy one.

The Venn diagram of neck pillows and disgusting trashy people in sweatpants is a circle.

Jokes on you. If you could read you’d know they have both on.

Not to mention they cycle in fresh air every 2-3 minutes

I can definitely see why it is safer to fly than go out to a restaurant

Per United Airlines:

"The HEPA filtration system on board our mainline aircraft recycles the air every 2-3 minutes and removes 99.97% of particles, making the air on board a plane cleaner than what you experience in restaurants, grocery stores, schools or even hospitals. Today, we announced that we'll not only run these filters at full strength for the entire flight — we’ll run them during the boarding and deplaning process, too."

I've flown on three different occasions since Rona started and each time there were less people around than my local grocery store.

I have flown every week since February and in the beginning were on flights that I was the only passenger with three flight attendants. Felt like my own Air Force One
