Wife and I were amazed to see so many kids that had to be older than 16 out there collecting candy.

I remember being “too old” to trick or treat when I was 13. Just weird is all

First time in 15 years I haven't had to walk the kids around. Youngest is 12 and didn't want any part of it. Turned the lights off and watched a movie. Loved it. Best Halloween ever.

Get off my lawn

I don't have a copy of the Halloween rulebook, can you share yours?

And those teens probably didnt get to trick or treat the last two years. Cut em some slack and let them be kids.

I’ve only really seen this with a certain demographic- and they wouldn’t dress up and either had Walmart plastic bags, pillow cases, or garbage bags.

Damn.

I'll spread the word that they should be TP'ing or egging your house instead since that's more.age appropriate. Everyone else will be happy to give them candy instead.

I'd much rather my teenagers walk around a bit getting candy than shady alternatives. Just be polite. But that time I was a senior in HS and we drove around in a black minivan as a "swat team" in CCLA was a bit much, I'm sorry.

I agree. Don’t recall dressing up and getting candy after like 6-7th grade but I kinda don’t mind because we have a pretty scary setup and I get tired of dialing it back for the littles. For small kids we don’t set off the big loud spooks or the loud cued up stuff and instead play the goofy kid music. So basically we can adapt the set up to who is coming up.

Meh. If they’re dressing up or at least polite, its fine. Better for them to be partaking in trick or treat than to be getting drunk or egging houses

I don't think you can call them that anymore....
