Three first-grade students at Winterberry Charter School in Anchorage planned to poison and kill another student last week, according to a letter sent to parents from the school’s principal.

The students “shared that three students in the class were planning on using the silica gel packets (these are not actually poison, but the students believed they were) from their lunchtime seaweed to poison and kill another student,” the letter says.

They are first graders. They don't have the requisite thought process to even understand what they were doing.

Instead of this becoming a big story, how about sitting them down with counselors? Jeez.

i remember in like 3rd grade putting some rocks on the train tracks and hiding under the bed later expecting to hear on the news that a train derailed.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I'll admit that we once had an elaborate plan to slingshot holly berries into an evil substitute teacher's drink.

Granted, even if this plan was successful I doubt she'd have even gotten sick, but we were nonetheless psychopaths and our intentions were terrible.

Damn. I met the guy I've been friends with longer than anyone in kindergarten trying to make poison. This poison consisted of water, mud, rocks, grass, and fun dip.
