Right. She caused the stall and then full-powered the other engine into a hard left turn and roll into the water.

read it again. yes the engine stalled but she went full after burn on the right engine after it stalled which flipped them.

I am just saying what the youtube video stated. Said the engine was known to have this issue and cause other deaths. Said they got rid of that particular engine.

I dont know anything about military aviation, just stating what I saw

The engine was known to do that yea, but the stall was induced by her error

One of the LSOs on the Lincoln that day was a pilot from La.

She had a near miss before that

Intruder pilot had a gear not working. Dumped fuel and had one shot at the net.

Not sure if I'm more impressed with the pilot or the other cat who is as calm as can be.

That was pretty fricking impressive! Atlas sure knew how to follow instructions. I was shitting in my pants just watching the video, but I'm not a Naval Aviator.

That LSO (or whomever was coaching Atlas on approach) was a cool and confident character. After all of the reassurances and confidence building, it was funny to hear him causually say, "I just need you to give me the best pass you've ever flown."

It was also interesting to see 20 or 30 crew members crawling all of that jet to clear the net and the deck. More aircraft to land, I'm sure.

A lot of people who scream diversity tend to forget just how good you have to be to land on a carrier deck at neck in bad weather. It’s not just skill, you’ve got to have the edge. Cougar lost his. Turned in his wings. He was number 1, you were number 2. I can’t believe I’m saying this. I have to give you your dream shot. You two are headed to Miramar.

Gotcha. The way he was asking questions I was wondering who was flying the plane?

I watched this 5 times. almost pissed my pants.

Bug Roach went out like he lived. Engine failed on his A-4 skyraider and the ejection seat failed as well.
