Nothing like having a 3 day work week to ease back into the grind of the teaching profession.

Stole the idea from the internet but I always put a SONOS speaker right outside my kids bedroom and blast “Circle of Life” at full volume for the first day of school.

It never ends. Stay at home moms bitch about how hard it is to be a stay at home mom. Then when the kids leave, the teachers bitch about how hard it is to work 45 hours a week for 9 months of a school year that includes numerous holidays, half days, and weeks off sprinkled throughout.

Has someone actually calculated how many working hours (real ones, not those spent hanging out with your fellow teachers for two hours in their classroom after school) teachers put in during a calendar year?

Welcome to last week or the week before. I’m glad school has been in session for a little bit cause the crowds at the store were insane buying school supplies.

I am so excited about school. Tired of figuring which camp is next and which sitter is supposed to show up. Summer is tough for working parents. Ready to get back on a regular schedule. So antiquated to have summer breaks. We are no longer a majority agricultural society, so there is no great need for kids to be off to work during the summer.

I'm sorry but you have an ugly kid.

The way some parents drive makes me wonder how they got a driver's license.
