I’ve had 3.

The prep is the prep.

Wipe Vaseline on your anus when the prep starts working. The volume coming through there is substantial.

A lot of traffic moving there quickly.

You can eat after procedure.

This a thing? Guys insecure about their manhood over a fricking colonoscopy?

That part was a joke in reference to some recent T-Bob comments.

My biggest question was about the after.

Propofol is the drug of choice. Most often fentanyl is not required.

Not too bad. I have had two. The drink tastes like salty dishwater but I held my nose and chugged it. Did one cup the night before and one early the next morning before I came to the procedure. As everyone said, you are shitting water. But the drugs are awesome, can confirm. Woke up with gas, embarrassed the wife, went home took a nap and crushed some food.

Kind of a nuisance but I know people that died from colon cancer so, so much better than that. Just go do it.

Tomorrow is the big day. In the middle of prep now. I didn't eat a whole lot yesterday because I didn't want to shite a hard brick today.

It's going along pretty smoothly. Surprised my eyeballs still have fluid in them, but all in all it's fine.

The call of wet wipes is the 5* winner. I got the huggies sensitive skin ones.

I had my first one this past week. While sitting in the exam room filling out paperwork for the nurse she hands me a sheet and says “this one is saying that if we damage or knock out any teeth, that we aren’t responsible.” I looked at her and said “Geez, how far up are they planning on ramming that thing?!”

this topic comes up with 4-5 pages of comments every 3-4 months. Perhaps a sticky is called for. Sticky probably not sensitive terminology

Like how soon after?
The shart drink will be long gone and not an issue. But you might feel groggy and meh from the magical milk.

A New Mexico jury awarded $1 million last week in a medical malpractice lawsuit stemming from a colonoscopy perforation. The case involved allegations that a doctor failed to properly locate and treat a perforated colon following the examination.

The colonoscopy malpractice lawsuit was filed by Michael Salopek, who went to Dr. David Friedman in February 2005 to treat a punctured colon that occurred during a colonoscopy. Dr. Friedman failed to locate the hole in Salopek’s colon and assumed that the perforation had healed itself.

As a result of the lack of treatment, Salopek’s fecal matter leaked into his body for 11 days and caused a serious infection. Salopek required 13 operations to repair the damage and remove part of his colon, according to a report in the Las Cruces Sun-News.

Keep drinking water. You don’t want to get too dehydrated. Most will pass through but some will get absorbed.

My only advice, the prep earlier than they tell you. I still felt like i had to poop in the waiting room a few minutes prior to being called back.

I second this. I needed about two more hours. But nurse said no big thing, the remnant squirts are fine lol

How are so many not including a $30 bidet toilet attachment as part of their prep?

I just took my first piss 9 hours after first prep.

Clear. Kinda creepy. I felt like a fountain at a mall or something.

The "urge to shite" feeling is kind of annoying. I go sit and nothing happens. Get up and still got that feeling. 9 hours to my appointment and got my second dose to take in an hour or so. Ready to get it over with.

Hungry. I could eat the arse out of a dead man.
