I served myself and sure I would be upset too as I served in Iraq myself. Of course at the end of the day you know you were there. The hell does it matter what someone behind a screen says? I will say I do like most of your posts...but you do post a lot. Maybe posts less. Davidthegnome is a pretty Legendary character himself. He just post the most random shite lol. I will agree this place is pretty fun when we have posters like you. Of course make no mistake this place was here long before you or even I was here. Just be careful or your not going to be here much longer...to be honest I'm surprised you are still here.

Traditional fireplace all the way. Love the crackle and smell...plus the memory of my dearest Mother lighting our fireplace one evening when I was younger and unknowingly lighting the couch on fire as I sat on it.

Most of the vets or active here do not make a big scene about serving. You learn about it through their content of their posts because of the subject of the OP. They may ask each other questions of service and that is it. They don't make a huge deal out of making sure everyone believes they have served, or require adoration/praise, but most get a "thank you for serving" response at some point.

I thought this thread was going to be about fireplaces.
