I respect firefighters more than any other emergency personnel. I couldn’t do it. I have a fear of burning to death. Great heroes

It was a close thing for those last couple of guys down the ladder - it almost got the truck. The second angle posted in the thread shows the guys on the truck apparently cool as cucumbers.
Most firefighters are adrenaline junkies, but that was too much sugar for a dime, IMHO.

It looked like they actually fell down on the ladder. I think they didn’t get up. The only reason they survived was due to flame only lasting for 15-30 seconds. Much longer and they would have been toast. I couldn’t tell if they actually had SCBA on
