Family was going to lose almost everything.
Very kind of the firefighter to go back in and get the girl her dress.
He probably has daughter.
Again this family lost everything but a glimmer of joy was had when a dress was saved.

The firefighter didn’t risk anything to get that dress. After the fire was completely out and all danger gone he went to where the family told him the dress was during the salvage and overhaul portion of fireground operations. No FF on earth is going after a dress for a teenager during active fire. Going into structure after the fire is out to retrieve important things for families on scene happens at every house fire on earth. This just made the news because of the celebrity angle on it.
