With lightning at least everyone should have been out of the area

Don't know for sure but with lightning alerts they send workers out of the units.

Based on my experience they won't know for sure any time soon.

Dang. That's the old Texaco refinery at the foot of the Sunshine Bridge?

One summer in college back in the early 80's I worked for a pipeline construction company. We ran a line from that refinery to Dow near Plaquemine on the other side of the river. 33 miles of pipe if I remember correctly.

Lots of fun crossing gumbo mud cane fields and alligator farms.

Have several friends that work there. Sounding like everyone in the refinery is safe.
