I love seeing people of all races having a peaceful protests and it's all over the country. Even when it comes to cleaning up damaged buildings. You see people of all color cleaning up the trash? removing graffiti and etc. But as always the negatives always outweighs the positive in everything. I think we will see more change in the future....fyi looters and rioters are not the same people as the peaceful protesters

I need to look up what peaceful means again

I can’t help but think what kind of moron makes a sign and goes out in a group chanting dumb slogans?
I understand it’s part of the fabric of this country and is granted as a right in the constitution, but I still think most protesters are weirdos.
If you protest, you need a list of goals you’re looking to accomplish. Most protests have no defined goal or no realistic goal and it’s just pointless to me.

A lot of them are cleaning up their own looted and trashed businesses

Legitimate protesters need to point out the lawbreakers who are taking the opportunity to riot. They are enabling these opportunists to run amok.

there's plenty of videos of black protestors standing in front of a police line trying to deescalate with rioters and black and white people cleaning up or embracing.
there's kindness out there. the left wants to pretend that that kindness and reconciliation doesn't exist and the right wants to pretend like there aren't peaceful people out there.
ETA: i don't find protests all that helpful to be honest. obviously they've had their place in history with women's suffrage and civil rights, but there is nothing systematic about what people are protesting today.

Looter and rioters are not the same as the peaceful protesters. But I'm sure you are trolling

The only thing I got out of this was the Democrats lack consistency or brains. Latoya will shut down the opening of phase 2, but praise hundreds of people protesting in close quarters. Is Covid a real threat or not? Evidently only for whitey at the beach during Memorial Day.

You should look at what they are protesting about ..that's a start

Actually agree....the looters and rioters are taking the message away

Or people will see once and for all that all sides, left and right, exploit them and a new political movement will begin. Ideals are peaceful, history is violent.

Most of them will just say justice for Floyd or justice.
Yet can't define what they mean by justice.
What is justice? What will be enough?
Chauvin is being charged with murder. They want Murder 1.
Do they want him hanged in public? Would that be enough? Truth is nothing will be enough.

Lol you are comparing a protest about a pandemic with a protest for better cops hahahaha I'm done. You all are trolling. This post was meant to be about positivity but my bad for posting this topic

I think this whole thing shows major progress toward the BLM. When you have riots in Salt Lake City favoring BLM that’s progress in my book.

I don't see what's wrong with speaking out and doing something for change. What happen to George Floyd was horrible and of course people are going to speak ou about it. For example let's say you are at a restaurant and you ask for salmon but they give you catfish. Are you just going to accept it or speak out against it?
