I agree on child raising, but we talkin about sleep. That’s more cookie cutter.
But they are different as hell.

Do you think this is excessive? This is a drop in the bucket for those of us with needy babies.
A couple of hours or more of straight crying is not unusual in our circles.
Not sure if serious.

At some point you just pass out and you'll never hear them anyway.
They need to name a method for that.

Well, yeah. Babies cry. It's not the end of the world.

Pretty sure my wife uses these same intervals on me when I’m drunk and trying to get some

Basically what we did. Two nights of Hell then he figured it out. So much better now.

That baby is going to grow up with abandonment issues. Let the baby cry for a few minutes to see if he'll go to sleep on his own. But if he doesn't, scoop him up and rock him in your arms to sleep. You will look back fondly on the time together.

Never heard of this before.
The wife had a very similar plan though. As in he’ll fall asleep eventually. Worked for us.
The 3 year old might end up in our bed once every 2-3 months.

Two hours or more isn't exactly healthy, and I'm a proponent of crying it out.

Somebody doesn’t have kids lol

Some babies are more persistent than others. I've never known a baby to not be happy to see mommy in the morning, whether he cries for 5 minutes or 50.
(Assuming all other needs are met)
