Currently building our first home in Ascension. Any recommendations for a fencing company? Lot is less than half an acre.

Also, what should I expect to pay for this?

Go with Ascension Fence and Deck. Veteran owned and operated, Jeff is a great guy with hundreds of projects completed. Deep posts and quality building so it doesn’t fall during hurricanes

I agree. Jeff at Ascensuon Fence and Deck. Quality work. Quality guy. I was one of his first customers and have used him on every house I have been in since, for wood, chain link and wrought iron automatic driveway gates...excellent work and service.

I’m glad to hear the reviews, and veteran owned part. He’s currently mid install on ours.

We talking 6' picket? Just build it yourself. I got a few quotes for mine and it was ridiculous. Rent an auger and buy all your lumber from Home Depot. It took me a couple weeks (2-3 hours every couple days) but I saved about $1,500.

I will agree. He did my fence in 2010. Zero problems with gates.

If you get multiple bids he probably wont be the cheapest. But its a fair price and you get what you pay for.

Hate when companies advertise this. Why would this change how I’d purchase a fence?

Ascension fence and deck did our first home. We were happy with it. Second home and much larger fence, got a quote from ascension fence and deck and Amko. Amko was able to do the fence for $1,000 less than Jeff and was able to do cedar instead of pine.

I guess i should add that Jeff really made a big deal about his gates when he built our first fence. His gates we’re great. Amko has the same exact gates. Both experiences were great with both companies. Amko was just cheaper.

Just used King Fencing and they did a great job at a good price. Ran by a licensed architect that pays attention to the details. Seemed to really care about how the fence looked. I’d recommend to everyone. Give Taylor a call and he’ll meet you out there.
