By fence contractor you mean dudes who chain smoke and put fences up right?

Don't know if you're talking privacy specific, but had this done last summer. It's called a "California chain link fence". I had a buddy from high school do it. I want to say it was around $3k. Could save money if you did it yourself.

That looks like a high class white trash fence.

I have a fence I use for stolen goods. I can contact him for you if you need. What’s the contraband?

Thanks Baw!
I couldve spent thousands more, but glad I didnt. It does the job I wanted, which was to not take the dogs out on a lead.

That fence looks pretty damn good for a chain link...are the posts and rails metal or wood?

Wood.
Could've went "fancier" and put solar lights on the posts (instead of the caps), but like I said I think it looks good and does what I wanted it for.

Does gorgeous work and does custom gates. Did mine 2 years ago and still looks brand new- no warping or discoloration.
Was also $800 cheaper than my other quotes. Easy to get ahold of and shows up on time. Can't recommend him enough

Have them set the post and the stringers. Get a cordless drill and put the boards on yourself.
Isn't hard, you save a little money and it makes replacing the boards easier.

I had a 6' cedar privacy fence put up within the last 6 months. The quotes I received were from $19 to $26 per linear foot. You have to add a few hundred per gate. This was done on an empty lot and I wouldn't recommend this fence guy.

It may be standard now but if not, make SURE your gates are framed in metal and not wood. Will hold up a lot longer and helps with sagging.
