to my knowledge, they need much more information than that including your ss#

i would be wary of stolen identity

Yeah, I would guess that it’s income based. And for the bigger money, I would think it’s income and whether or not you have insurance. But I’m not certain on either. It sounds like if you didn’t leave your home, and you have insurance, it’s an auto denial, but they reconsider that $500 miscellaneous in a couple of days.

I heard Ole Joe tell me that ANYONE living in the affected areas will receive $500 after they apply. If you get turned down I’d appeal and say the President said you qualify. I have been initially turned down and directed to SBA as well so we’ll see.

I wonder what the income limit is? 150k, 200k, 250k, 300k or any limit?

Must be under 200k bc I’ve been without water and power since the 29th and was denied. I registered Thursday and was instantly denied. I assume it’s bc I have insurance and/or make too much. They never asked about receipts for any expenses just if I had damage to my home which I do.

I bet it's the same income limits as the last stimulus payment because I'm also under 200k and didn't get approved even though I was able to meet the criteria for three things.

Can my stay at home wife apply with her 0 income and get $500?

As I said before I applied on the 2nd, was denied for the housing probably because I had insurance and sent the link for an SBA loan. I make about 100k now so not sure the income requirement. On the 4th it popped up I was eligible for the 500 miscellaneous check and that is now pending, assuming it will be deposited tomorrow since banks have been closed.

I applied and got denied. Told me to get an SBA loan. I figured I would get denied. Oh well.

Same with me and then 2 days later the 500 appeared under miscellaneous. Not sure if people are wanting the housing assistance or not but seems if you have insurance and can stay in your home you will be denied.

Isn't worth it. Will never qualify for anything.

If you are in the affected areas, you will get approved for the “miscellaneous”. It is not income based.

Sorry to hear this for everyone affected. I donated a bunch of groceries at Publix yesterday to peeps hit by the hurricane. Hope everyone gets what they deserve financially and can get back to normal in the near future. Stay strong my Louisiana baws and bawettes.

Same here and I’m in Lafourche parish still without running water and power so definitely in an affected area. I don’t even see a miscellaneous item on my claim, just the denied housing assistance.
