Why does it look like the guy in the first picture only has half of a body??

Picked my dog up on the side of hwy 44 in gonzales. She was 3 weeks old and the vet said she would have died in the next day or two. I haf to bottle feed her. Now she is 50 lbs. Beautiful. Browm tiger striped pit/boxer mix. Absolutely best dog i have/ will ever own.
Sad part is she still gets super frwaked out at loud noises and big trucks 2 yrs later. Still to this day has never growled at or bared her teeth at anyone

My son is bugging us for one. And he's getting to that age, so it won't be long. Think we are gonna do the animal shelter puppy thing.
