How is his weight loss program coming along?
For reference, mine gets 1 1/3 cups twice daily - less than the recommended amount on the bag. She weighs right at 63 lbs.

Same, and ours is about 72 lbs. the last 4 or 5 checkups. Very steady.
Although we do give him human food (in his bowl) sometimes because he's the goodest good boy there ever was and goddamnit he deserves some bacon and steak fat every once in a while.

Just looked at ours on Dog Food Advisor and it is 4.5 stars (I actually mix two varieties of the same brand, one is 5 and one is 4).
Taste of the Wild. On Amazon for $45-48, which appears comparable to your dog's food, but I get free shipping which is great.
And my dog loves that shite. Great website though
TOTW and ACANA are the same company. They make a premium product. Unfortunately, something didn't sit right with my girl and her coat. I've been through many brands and it wasn't until I found and moved her over to Sport Dog that her coat improved.
Unfortunately, Sport Dog is a mess of a company right now and has forced me to look elsewhere. Muenster Milling (made in Texas - only takes 2 days to receive product if in Louisiana) appears to be a great company that makes a high end product. So far, so good.

Sign up for their e-mail coupons. They seem to be pretty aggressive with offering specials regularly. This is based off the last two weeks I have been receiving them.

up to 114 from 106. I think my wife is giving him too much food when she feeds him.

As my boss used to say, you're trending in the wrong direction.
He obviously needs to chase some tail. I'll have to bring mine out there to the park and let him run after her.

Resource Guarding.
Mine does the same thing. Wants to show other dogs that she is the "dominant" one.
So ... I make sure there are no toys around at the park - including balls by redirecting her to something else. This helps avoid any confrontations.

It's great for them. It helps them in so many ways from digestion, to teeth, to coat, etc.

Had my 15 year old chihuahua's done for the second time in her life and I think they removed 11 teeth. Vet had to call me back 3 times to ask for permission to keep going. Now her tongue hangs out of one side. ????

My dog is 13 and I've never had her teeth cleaned or brushed them. Don't plan on starting now.

No. Slow. Extremely slow. Process. Excruciatingly slow. Did I say slow?

Sounds like you are missing out and are jealous vets are making more doing what you do.
Whatever, dude. I was just making an observation. I find folks value their hair appts. and their vet appts. before their own health.
