Original Details of the Case

I remember this. The kid vanished without a trace from his yard. 2 years old.

What's weird is they give no reason why they decided now to open it. I wonder if they got some news or tips lately on this.

Ruby Renee Havard - Mother
Burnell Hilton - Mother's boyfriend at the time of the disappearance
Dewey Morgan - Wesley's father

Wesley was last seen playing on his front porch playing with his puppy at 9:45 am

This site reports that Mother and Boyfriend both failed polygraph test.

In 2008, Havard (the mother) was charged with trying to sell one of her children. The charge was dropped.

The mom sold that child. It's not her first time to make money off her offspring.

Sometimes they re-open cold case files for no other reason than they have a new cold case detective that wants to try his hand.

I remember this too. It's strange because I was just wondering if they ever found this kid just a few weeks ago. That mom knows what happened, book it. How any parent can harm their child is beyond me. Just boggles my mind and makes me sad.

Walt,

Kid disappeared from yard. Mom says she has no idea how or what happened to him. That's pretty much it and everyone seems to think the mom had something to do with it

Did they look under the bed?

That's the first place I look when something is missing.

She'd also been caught trying to sell a different child at some point, I think.

This was the theory back when the case was initially being investigated but couldn't be proven by law enforcement. I know some personnel that were present when the search for the kid was ongoing near the kid's residence and they said the mom didn't act very concerned at all for her child. She sat around her home and laughed and carried on liked nothing was wrong.

The obvious answer is usually the correct answer.
