There's two sides to all of us, and there is no telling how we would all be with fame and celebrity.
At the end of the day, he spoke words that were true and at least knew what needed to be said and happen.
What's sad is now his legacy will be questioned all while the left is practicing the exact opposite of what he spoke about.

the source was the author of a Pulitzer prize winning biography of MLK so you'd have to assume some credibility to the claims

Hoover bugged MLK’s hotel rooms for years and used his association with the Communist Party USA as his reasoning for the surveillance. Over the years these recordings were played back to a number of politicians, media and LOE. Of course the MSM has all but ignored the sexual rumors but they are there and hard to ignore.
Even the Daily KOS, no right wing rag, admits as much, but tries to spin the sordid details.
