Houston Independent School District HQ...
Looks like someone got caught sticking his hand in the till..
Brian Busby
HISD is a cluster...some of the back story...
Texas TEA to take over HISD
November 6, 2019
Houston Federation of Teachers file suit against TEA-November 19, 2019
Judge issues injunction to prevent TEA takeover of HISD-Jan. 9, 2020
TEA appeals the injunction-January 9, 2020
I bet HISD didn't want an independent entity coming in because they would see how much corruption there is in HISD..
Houston Independent School District HQ...

The FBI is conducting court authorized law enforcement activity at the Hattie Mae White, HISD Administration Building. We want to assure the public there is no danger to the HISD students, staff or greater Houston community. We will provide any additional information once it becomes public. We have no further comment at this time.

SkyEye13 also spotted authorities outside of HISD's Chief Operating Officer Brian Busby's house on Thursday. Busby, a 21-year veteran with HISD, has served in his current post since December 2016.
quote:
In his role, Busby oversees an annual operating budget of more than $260 million and leads a workforce of more than 7,000 employees from seven major departments, including construction, transportation, nutrition, police, facilities, support and strategic engagement and outreach.
quote:
HISD has been under scrutiny for months after the Texas Education Agency took control of the state's largest school district in November 2019.
The TEA's investigative unit issued a 318-page report in October 2019, outlining allegations, including that HISD's Board of Trustees violated contract procurement rules and attempted to tamper with contracts, among other things.
quote:
Following months of investigation, the TEA determined one of the ways the district abused the procurement process was by splitting job contract orders to make sure the contracts were valued under $500,000 and could then avoid getting prior school board approval.

Mr Busby must have a tight bunghole this AM...
3 boxes and a computer? Absolutely a targeted raid.
FBI / DOJ set up an office in the Orleans Parish School Board building in the early 2000s. HISD has a ways to go to catch up.

my O&G buddies tell me (in hushed tones ofc) that some of the safety ops around the plants down on the texas gulf are also houses of cards, just waiting for the wrong day and the wrong accident
I have no way of verifying this or confirming its authenticity but nevertheless I'm going to spread it all over like a gossippy queen

When there isn't a lot of money being made, safety and maintenance are the first to get cut.
