None. I went to a Casino twice, played slots and black jack. That was twice too many times for me. Never went back. Wife and MIL went every 3 weeks or so. I never saw the draw to it myself.

Went yesterday to Coushatta. Normally don't go on weekends, but a buddy of mine was in town and staying there for a night. My god the trash from Texas that comes there, as well as Louisiana. But everybody I talked to was from around the Houston area, some from San Antonio. Lots of older men with young wives.
Usually go to a poker bar for a few beers then head to the table games. Wifey just plays slots. Came back with money but didn't win.
You went to Coushatta and are surprised by the low amount of class in the building?

Craps. But you gotta bring a fat roll and schedule lots of time.
For $10 minimums with 5x odds, you need ten grand in your pocket to play out the lows.

"Push-Button" Craps. Steady pace. Easy to get into a rhythm of betting your strategy. Don't get the stink-eye if you crap-out after five throws. Low minimums. Downside is the fat dice can roll-over funky (good and bad) and free-odds are capped at x2 odds, but 3$ minimum line bet can cover a lot of numbers on the come with odds and not bust your wallet. I've turned $100 to $400 paying minimum, but it took a while.

I walk to the roulette table and bet $100 on black. After that, I hit the blackjack tables with either my winnings from roulette or a $100 less to play.
So if you only place one bet you are putting in on a bet that has an ROI of only 46% as opposed to other single bet ROIs of 49%

Cracks me up that you two think Craps is a beatable game with "strategy". If you play the most optimal strategy(bet straight don't pass line with max odds) the house edge is still 0.45%. One of the best bets you can place in a casino(favorable video poker payout tables and favorable blackjack rule sets can have a smaller house edge), but you'll still lose over the long run

Free odds x10 (they are out there) can reduce casino odds to almost even (.18%). The strategy is not getting sucked into the moment and start betting hard-ways and the other garbage bets. But as a previous poster noted, you must a sizable bank roll.
.45% is why it is call "gambling". I don't gamble much, and I don't really think it's big fun. But if I'm in the mix, I'll play what presents the best odds and the only way you can get that .45% is stay focused, and that requires discipline, not necessarily strategy I will admit.

Craps all the way. Nothing beats a long roll when everyone gets rich
