Karl Roider was an idiot and he was uninterested in teaching.

??

I hope this is sarcasm. Roider was one of the best. He stepped down as a dean because he preferred teaching.

Best: Sheldon Lotten (Spanish). People in the class either loved him or hated him. The people that hated him were the ones that rarely went to class and got behind. I seriously considered minoring in Spanish after taking his first class.

Worst: I didn't have any terrible teachers during my time at LSU, so this is hard. I guess I would say Peter Kelle (ISDS). The structure of the class was what I didn't like about it (1/2 online, 1/2 classroom) rather than his actual teaching. Doesn't matter, made an A.

Cecil Eubanks.

My least favorite was Professor Kirby-Smith. She hated men, was a terrible writer teaching a class on how to write, and attempted to fail me because I asked for an extension to revise a paper, and she gave an approval which she forgot about. I said I was filing a complaint and had witness statements, and she attempted to use her position and name to bully me into taking half credit. In the end, the dumb bitch filed the complaint on herself out of either spite or a misplaced superiority complex.

The entire class torched her evaluations that semester and I saved/submitted all the emails where she harassed me.

You won't find her at LSU anymore.

Same here. I'm sure I had a few, but I can't remember who they are or why I didn't like them. Many of the professors I had still stand out as being great 5 years after finishing undergrad.

The only LSU undergrad professor I've ever had was Eubanks (through a loophole in the law school curriculum). Not only is he a nice and gracious guy as a person, but he was a really cool professor. I had no idea he used to be some socialist because he was very even-handed in his discussion of the material and welcomed open dialogue. I ended up being challenged and learning a lot.

Least Favorite: Insert law professor here

Least favorite? Can't remember his name. a-hole liberal English teacher with huge chip on his shoulder that accused me of antisemitism in a Legal Writing class.

Favorite for me: Sauley, Karam, and I had an English 2002 professor that was really cool, but can't remember his name. He liked Lil' Wayne and we watched "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia" in his class. Brian Andrews for banking finance was great too.

Least favorite: Jared (AIS professor), Stahl (Econ), Dana Holly (Intermediate Acct II)

Achberger for Microbial Genetics and Strongin for Organic Chemistry were the two best professors I had at LSU. Both were brilliant and were very good at explaining complex things in a way that the majority of the class could understand.

Can't remember who the worst was. I did have 4 different professors for Virology which drove me crazy. They each taught a section and each gave 1 test for a total of 4 tests from 4 different people. You never had the chance to get used to anyone's testing style.
