You can blame the media for that, as the imperial college model has gotten the most publicity by far. Vox, the Atlantic, Wapo, etc have all run doom and gloom articles about millions of American deaths and eighteen months of social distancing.

Never said it was a hoax. I am saying that those getting excited over 200,000 will die, can’t give a time frame and is sensationalism. Panickers don’t like rational thought.
