Derangement is thinking this documentary was a good idea at this point in time. You can create any made up term that helps you feel better. That weasel is driving policies that are fricking with people's lives. And he will continue to do it as long as his dick is firmly planted in the mouths of his flock.

Ignorance is taking an immovable stance based on an unknown variable.

I didn't leave a review. Seeing the film is not a prerequisite for my stance that a puff piece about a very hated man was a dumb idea. The audience score very much proves that, regardless of who left the reviews.

Deciding the credibility of that score based on no knowledge of the key variable is literally the definition of ignorance. Could not nail it any more than that.

Speculation is all we have when there is no possible way to know the real source.

You have still not given a guess on how many of those reviews you think were from people who actually watched the doc.

It's not really relevant, especially to my point.

This insult doesn't really make sense in this context. Is it just your blanket catchall jab when someone disagrees with you? I've watched the real Fauci story for almost 2 years. I've come to my conclusions about the man based on my own experience. You seem to be demanding I let a piece of propaganda inform my conclusions, which I guess to you is "thinking for myself."

You are letting your opinion about a man be the sole piece of info that you are using to judge the doc.

It could be good, it could be bad. It could be propaganda, it could be his breakfast routine.

My point is that you don't and will never know because you are ignorantly letting your preconceived notions and the fake reviews by others like you tell you about a doc based on 0 information.

I'm no fan of murders, but I enjoy documentaries about them.

This doc may be horrible, but make your own decision ffs.

Sure, but that man happens to be the sole focus of the documentary. I'm also letting the movie itself tell me what a worthless puff piece it is. I don't give a shite what Bono, Susan Rice, or his kids think of him. Their opinions are worthless to most people considering what he's been doing the last 2 years.

I'm not going to watch this just to maybe catch some pleasing videography simply because you're upset that people are deciding to watch or not watch based on the actual content of it.

quote:

With his signature blend of scientific acumen, candor and integrity, Dr. Anthony Fauci became America's most unlikely cultural icon during COVID-19. A world-renowned infectious disease specialist and the longest-serving public health leader in Washington, D.C., he has valiantly overseen the U.S. response to 50 years' worth of epidemics, including HIV/AIDS, SARS and Ebola. FAUCI is an unprecedented portrait of one of our most vital public servants, whose work saved millions while he faced threats from anonymous adversaries. Directed by Emmy winners John Hoffman (The Weight of the Nation, Sleepless in America) and Janet Tobias (Unseen Enemy), the film is executive produced by Academy Award winner Dan Cogan (Icarus) and two-time Academy Award nominee Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone?, The Farm: Angola, USA). The documentary features insights from President George W. Bush, Bill Gates, Bono, former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services secretary Sylvia Burwell, former national security advisor Susan Rice, National Institutes of Health director Dr. Francis Collins, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Dr. Tom Frieden and key AIDS activists, plus Dr. Fauci's family, friends and former patients.

Rotten Tomato's has always been off (left leaning). The popcorn rating has always been much more accurate for the movies I enjoy/or don't enjoy.

They aren't though.

That's my point. They are negatively reviewing it specifically Without knowing the actual content of it.

I'm pretty sure you're the only one stipulating that all the detailed reviews written on rotten tomatoes were actually made up, so I'm not sure why you are arguing based on everyone else stipulating that.
