My wife was back to pre-pregnancy weight when she stepped on the scale the first day back from the hospital after giving birth.

She didn't after our first kid, but did after our second. She didn't really gain much either time though. Not enough for me to even really notice at least.

First your friend is a piece of shite. Second, yes my wife lost the weight but she didn’t gain that much. Being pregnant does not give a woman a pass to shove every piece of food down her throat.

I'm glad it was found and she will be ok. That's scary AF.
Most people would fight like hell to figure out what's causing unexplained weight gain.
But for many women... pregnancy weight gain is easily accepted.

That's a statistical anomaly. Most women gain at least 25 and lose only about 10 during childbirth itself.

My wife has been changing what she is eating this year and is almost her weight before our first born (we have four) but that contract crap is crap
