Whatcha got? Looking for something to get my 74 year old dad. He still is very active and walks, works in the yard, and loves to fish. These threads usually yield some pretty cool ideas.

At that age, he has all the 'things' he wants. I'd suggest a trip.

at that age, time spent with family and friends means more than things. would be cool if you could organize a family fishing afternoon/cook out on father's day or the saturday before.

I'm getting my dad a new fish fillet knife. Getting the Cutco one. His buddy has it and he always talks about how good it is.

we lost my father-in-law last week. it's going to be a bittersweet father's day this year.
