I’m surprised the parents of the girls didn’t vet this situation better (or at all) before letting their girls spend the night.

I have a sister that was 1 year older than me and 1 that was 2 years younger , and every time they would have sleepovers my dad would take me and my brother to the camp. That used to piss me off.

Well for starters- we are not child molestors and make sure our house is a safe place for other kids.
We also invited parents over to come see our house and get to know us if their kid was a new friend to one of mine.
We always made sure their kids had access to a phone if they at any time wanted to go home in the middle of the night or call their parents or whenever.
And If other parents didn’t let their kids stay at our house- we totally understood where they were coming from bc we felt the same way - so no one had their feelings hurt or panties in a wad.
