Probably. Still just a costume.

300,000 dead American soldiers disagree with you.

I think that the almost 20 million people who were killed in concentration camps just over 70 years ago wouldn’t find the costume funny at all. It seems it takes a generation or two and it’s all forgotten.

My grandfathers faught Nazis. Patton got fired because he wanted to invade Russia. I knew people who were in concentration camps and lost their whole family.

What stands between you and the costume? When does a costume become a uniform? When does a joke become a reality? 11 Jewish people just got killed over stuff like this. I might be old, and I might be old fashioned, But I’m more of an Eisenhower man myself - respect, dignity, and protect the weak.

Father and son dress as Nazis (son as hitler) for Halloween...

Thirty years ago an oldtimer would have popped a couple of caps in his arse. This would have been pretty unthinkable even twenty years ago.

I’m constantly amazed at people’s complete lack of consciousness. Not in this case this cocksucker knew exactly what he was doing-taking his kid down the same dead end. My grandfather god rest his soul would have taken the man quietly aside and punched him in the head.

Agreed, but, the type of people who'd dress their children up as Hilter aren't doing it because he was a dictator/mass murderer/despot. They do it because of the whole master race angle and surprisingly probably know all the others are of "ethnic" backgrounds so those costumes are not an option.

It is clear from their social media posts that both parents are white supremacists and Holocaust deniers.

And I don't think people would really care if this guy dressed up as Hitler himself, but he convinced his small child to do it as well.

People saying its the same as dressing up as a ghoul or devil are kidding themselves. Those are make believe, this is not.

I'm not outraged at all, I don't really care, but I think its fricking stupid and people defending it are equally as stupid.

If they came to my house, that kid would witness his father getting his arse whipped in front of his very own eyes. Hell I’d even have my kid beat up the kid just cause

Back when I was a kid this was perfectly acceptable as long as you were dressing up as a specific character.

I don't know about dressing up in a Nazi uniform, but we used to draw Nazi planes and tanks all over our school notebooks. Today they'd probably call a SWAT team to your classroom for that.
