If he had time to register the number of showering shells and in particular TO KEEP FIRING HIS GUN, I reckon he had time to stop firing and get himself out of the hail of shells.

quote:

Several hitting me in the head or neck and bouncing off. Still stacked bullets in the 9 and 10 ring until one went down my shirt and I dropped my barrel slightly and hit dead center under the 7 ring.

What's wrong with you people? Several others have described similar experiences. You ought to be complaining to the owner of the range about these moron instructors conducting unsafe drills.

None of this would have happened if the guy had been shooting a revolver.

Revolvers are where it is really at, youngsters.

Let's review meaningful facts. You are okay with that I assume. A child died for no other reason than a gun. Not a car, a gun. Stick with the facts.

BTW,I am intimately aware and experienced with gun shot results. Cars, they're cars. Harmless relative to this discussion.

Your facts are correct.

A child died b/c of misuse of a gun.

I think we agree that the gun, properly used, wouldn't harm the child, or anyone else.

FWIW, my daughter had hot shell casings from a .22 she was firing go down her top. She didn't shoot anyone.
