You pass in the right lane?

Unfortunately yes, I try not to do it, but some people just won't leave the god damn passing lane. If I can pass you on the right that means there was room for you to move right. I am in a 4 cylinder commute mobile, not a sports car.

Chattanooga's left lane stacks up bad going up and down the ridge cut, I find I can move at a steady flow getting in the middle and right lane in some locations. Sometimes it's just asshats that won't leave the left lane. I run into yahoos in regular trucks pulling trailers up and down hills below the speed limit and just stick to the left lane a lot too.

Getting stuck between two assholes doing the exact same speed in both lanes with no other cars around is infuriating.

Everytime I start a thread on the OT, I cringe because I know I'm gonna get shite for doing so

But anyways. Ive been pondering something for years now. I wired up LEDs in my car (under the dashboard down by my feet). But I wanna get one of those LED boards where I can type a message on it. I'd love to type "Get the frick out of the way" and have that display on the front of my car. Like a bus has its destination on the front

Kind of like this, but "MOVE THE frick OUT OF THE WAY" instead of "Sorry"

I've always thought that would it would be awesome to have one of those speakers the cops have and just get on the horn and blast, "WTF are you doing?! Either pass or get in the fricking right lane a-hole!"

I'm thinking it's probably better I don't have one though.

My cousin has one. He doesn't use it for that though. He uses it for the sound effects on it.

I give zero fricks about driving slow in the fast lane. I work my arse off every day and pay taxes so we can ALL have decent roads. Statistics tell me that there is about a 48% chance that the person riding my bumper doesn't work or contribute anything to society so I usually tap my brakes even more. Sorry if you're collateral damage.

Not using the passing lane as a passing lane is a moving violation in Alabama, but they never pull anyone over for it. I'm sure it causes more accidents than speeding.

If you are in the left lane and cars are having to pass you on the right, you suck.

Good for you?
So do I. So what makes you being an asshat okay?
There's two lanes for a reason.

I have no problem with people driving slow. But I have people driving slow to the point where I can't get around them.

This was a little after 3 pm. Where most people on the road are on their way home from work/school. So once again, you're just being asinine and ignorant

And this wasn't in BR. It was in the metro area of New Orleans on a highway. But still. Frick that lady and that guy.

I see it everywhere. Oblivious dumbasses aren't confined to one city/state. I think some think they are being safe by driving the speed limit. These people are more dangerous than the speeders...regardless of the posted speed people who impede the flow of traffic are more dangerous.

I stay in the "slow lane" every afternoon on my way home from work because it is actually quicker during rush hour in Birmingham than trying to use the passing lane. By this I mean there are stretches where you can go for 2-3 miles with no one in the "slow lane" while the passing lane is completely stopped. Apparently I live in a metro area almost completely populated by slow-moving drivers who hog the passing lane.

It's annoying because these type of people don't even realize that they're stupid. So they just look at you like you're an idiot and don't know how to drive

Put my 10 year old truck, that I dont' care about b/c it's my 3rd vehicle, in reverse and jammed my hitch straight into her car and drove off.

I used to have an extended hitch because of a rear tire carrier.

It claimed many a front bumper. Drivers who think you need to be 5 inches from the car in front of you in heavy traffic piss me off.

I may.... may... have used to absolutely annihilate a jeep s door because he parked behind me and left a jeep sticker on my windshield.

a few weeks ago I was on the Claiborne Overpass in NOLA heading downtown and there was light traffic on the interstate. I was in the right lane and there two cars in front of me, one in the right lane in and one in the middle who were having a conservation on the interstate. I almost lost my fricking mind.

Well everyone does. Take a gander till she looks your way and drive off. But if someone is behind you, let them pass (and possibly take a look) then get back over and continue looking and repeat. Don't hog the lane (or tits)

Look, I can totally understand when someone has a brain fart and forgets to get over after passing a long line of cars or something. And when the first person passes them on their right, they realize their mistake and get over. Not happy about it, but we all make mistakes.

But I have to say Texas drivers are the worst I've ever seen about riding in the fast lane. I've said it many times, but it's fresh as I just made the trip from LA back yesterday. So many a-holes.

I love it when I've got cruise control on and get passed by the same guy 15 times. Or the person who speeds up when they realize they are getting passed. F**k you and your entire family.

I have seen a cop in Texas pull someone over for riding in the left lane once. He pulled up behind him to give him a chance to get over. After tailing him for a little bit, he got him. One of the most satisfying things I've ever seen.

I mean having a legitimate conservation for over a minute on the interstate

I've honestly considered being a cop just to do this.
But you also have the people that go 10 under just because you're a cop and they get all paranoid because you're behind them.
