Fast food workers need a better technique when putting lids on cups.

99 times out of 100 they use their palms to push the lid down. This can't be clean. I often admonish the drive-thru worker handling this task, but today I asked to speak with the manager. She was responsive and asked me to pull ahead and wait. She personally brought out my food and assured me that no palm touched my drink lid. She also gave me a free chocolate shake for my troubles. I feel like I'm doing my part to improve the drive thru experience at quick food establishments.

If they are effectively washing their hands, then what does it really matter?

Instead of palm you got spit, stink finger, snot rocket, and ball sweat. They passed that cup around and let everyone add some DNA to it. Enjoy, you whiny twat.

That shake was chock full of bodily fluids.

They're usually also handling money so their hands probably aren't clean.

You sound pretty pretentious considering you're eating at McDonald's

The fast food worker got a little piss on his hand.
Then he touched the counter where they laid down the burger wrapper.
Then they put your napkins in the bag against the burger wrapper.
Then you rubbed that napkin all over your face.

You don't hold the average fast food worker in high esteem, do you?

The presence of bacteria does not mean something is dirty.
