Fast Food Jobs With Now Hiring Signs

Do you think the reason every fast food restaurant out there these days has now hiring signs is because they cant get anyone to work there because their target employment demographic are making more money from the government?
If you were going to get up and apply for fast food jobs which ones would you pick since its apparent there is a high chance you would be hired on the spot

They absolutely have shortages due to the stimulus payments.
If I had to choose one, it’d be Chick-fil-A

When I worked in a pizza restaurant in undergrad, we would get 3-5 calls a week from people just saying hey I’m applying to this job to meet a quota to keep unemployment benefits. Please don’t hire me

I’ve seen tons of fast food places that simply need employees. I know of some near me that have apparently had days where they aren’t open because they don’t have enough employees working on those days to operate the store.

Im not saying that people on unemployment abuse it because they absolutely do. Not as much as the OT would like to believe though.
But if you think they know they are supposed to be actively looking for employment to qualify and have the foresight to "ghost apply" for jobs to stay eleible you're out of your mind.

I don’t know how these places even find enough workers to operate. I rarely see the same person working there twice. I feel bad for the people who actually work hard.
