I never gave this a second thought until I saw this video. Should we hold fast-food operator's feet to the fire when it comes to matching up the food to their ads? Should they get a pass? Is the guy in the video being too picky? Any fast-food operators out there that care to weigh in?

That reality picture is bullshite. The food never looks like the ad, but it is very rare it looks as bad as that pic claims.

ETA: And when could we start embedding vids again?

Yes, life is hard for us workers.

Do you want it fast, or do you want perfection?

The food in ads usually isn't even real. Those seeds are glued on, milk as actually glue, etc. Fast food serves a purpose and expectations shouldn't be much higher.

You know, I THOUGHT the house I bought looked a lot nicer in the realtor pictures. Do you think the real estate agent tried to entice me by making the house look as nice as possible? Would they DO something like that??!!

I know a lawyer that wanted to sue places for doing this very thing. He found out that it is allowed to dress up the product as long as everything pictured on it actually comes on what you order.

That guy is equally as bad as the advertiser. He's just on the other side.

What a dumbshit video

Have you never seen a magazine in your entire life? What about a print/still ad?

Everything that exists today is either photoshopped or covered in makeup. I always found it ironic that Megan Trainor moans and groans about photoshop, but obviously loaded up on makeup for her video.

I don't think you fully grasp the concept of an embedded video...

Oh lawd. Look... when a video is embedded that means you watch the video from this page. When you click on the picture in the OP you are redirected to another website (youtube). He simply posted a picture of the video and used it as a link.

Having it as a clickable image is more than we used to be able to do.

No it's not. You could always use an image, or text, or even and emoticon as a clickable link.

Do you even html, bro?
