With heavy hearts we put our RV journey on pause and flew to NC to say goodbye to our dog Conan. Although we are devastated, we know he is in a better place. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and kind messages, we really appreciate it. Thank you to Rick @wardoggduco @warhogg_com for facilitating treatment and for making it possible for us to spend the last few days with our best friend. It meant the world to us to be there and I can never thank you enough. To @ken_russell_lwc you took Conan in so we could start our Rv trip knowing he may be sick. You drove him back and forth from NC to Ga for treatments and surgery. You took him countless times for follow on care and checkups. You hand fed him when he couldn’t eat. You never once complained or looked at it as a burden. I can never thank you enough. To @fred_the_crawfish thank you for opening your home once again so we had an place to stay. You made sure Conan was comfortable and had plenty of treats, you were a shoulder to cry on and I couldn’t think of a better place for Conan to spend his final days. To those he served alongside thank you for trusting in him to look out for you. He was never more amped then when the rotors were turning. It was an honor and I will cherish those times. To my team mates that showed up to give him a proper send off, with our beautiful flag draped over him. He loved nothing more than working along side you and it was a special moment for my family to see. @roamin.with.the.roberts thank you for everything, for welcoming Conan into our home, taking care of him when I was away, and supporting me during these difficult times. Eventually he won you over and I think you loved him just as much as I did! Conan thank you for being such a positive impact on our lives. Thank you for your loyalty, your service to our country, and all the memories. My kids adored you and you loved them unconditionally, you were their hero, and they will never forget you. They were brave enough to be there with you, holding you until you took your last breath and it hurts to know how much they will miss you. We will all miss you. We love you buddy. Rest Easy.
