My dead pappy used to tell us if we didn't bath we could sleep outside with the dogs. We were bout 3,3.5.

By the time they are old enough to handle the entire bathing process by themselves, they are also old enough to realize they can fake it.
This is what I'm asking, I guess, I'm not afraid of drowning at this point, it's trusting them to do everything they are supposed to, independently, without hovering.
