I had this happen to me once, but with a fat raccoon. All I was going to do was throw some rib bones away in the outside garbage can at work. When I got to the can the raccoon pulled the can lid/flap back and stuck its head out like I was serving it dinner. Scared the hell out of me. Didn't faze the raccoon.
