This reminds me of when a women was killed near Benton, LA when a truck jack came off of a tractor trailer headed in the other direction and it came through her windshield and decapitated her. Quick way to go, for sure.

My dad was on the Bon Homme Richard in Vietnam, they finally got a leave and the replacing AirCraft Carrier had a wounded plane land and one of the missles/bombs skipped across the deck and exploded, Not sure how many died.
They were in a bar when the MP's busted in and back on the water that day. Spent 2 more years or so out there that time.

Buddy of mine in 1987 got killed along I-20 in Mississippi when the top of a pine tree skewered him during a violent storm. His Ford Bronco ended up in the woods. Somehow his dog survived without a scratch.
Scary stuff.
