We love our tolerance, "huh" folks?

Silence those that don't agree with us.

Like it or not...FB and Twitter are private companies and can do whatever they want in determining who does/doesn't use their platforms.
I don't disagree, but facebook, twitter, etc are still relatively new technologies with massive influence that's hard to overstate. I think the debate around who decides what is allowed and how that determination is made is an important one and the answers aren't as simple as they might have been for previous technologies.

Twitter is the poorest of poor way to get your message out.

While not ideal, it's the most efficient method he had at his disposal. He can't call up Hannity and use him as his personal press agent every time he wants to get a message out. Your line of thinking is in the last century. That method is about as efficient as print newspaper.

Its pretty obvious media in the US is being paid off by China. Crazy times.

We don't have a "Free and impartial" media. But using those platforms is supporting them.

100% this. It has already started happening. When you account for the large amount of Conservative voices on that platform, it is a huge target. However, it will be a bit like YouTube cutting off its nose to spite its face with the fact that alot of those content creators are major drivers of ad revenue with big followings.

Just yesterday livestreams from the protests were being whacked left and right. Not even just streams from people on the ground, but streams of news coverage and other type things were taken down. That is china-like suppression, and should be worrisome to everyone.

Which media platform isn't influenced by China?

But as far as content goes, Twitter is the most inefficient platform on the planet.

Is it? Trump got exactly what he wanted to say out, unfiltered until recently.

He wasn't getting that anywhere else.

Wow, what a bunch of idiots at Facebook/Twitter. Guess they consider it a controlled burn for wildfire control. Only problem is that people are much more unpredictable than a fire. This is going to enrage people that are already in a frenzy.

When people say things like “the left is anti-American”, and “they wipe their asses with the constitutional ideals of freedom and liberty”, and “they are a giant unprincipled group think collective” this is what they’re talking about.

No freedom of action and no freedom of speech. Shocker.

This country is turning more and more into a communist country by the day. We're fricking doomed and it's disgusting.

The fact that they do it under the guise of "protecting the public" is the part that makes it the most disturbing.

It already is. Your video gets demonetized if you feature firearms in it, and in some cases even knives.

280 characters or whatever their limit is now is retarded. You cannot convey most messages to people in 280 characters and put forth anything with meaning.

All Trump had to do is develop some statesman like qualities and most of his issues would pass. But he used Twitter, a platform known to have biases and enforce them.

I certainly don't think Twitter and FB are wonderful companies with their user's best interests at heart. But...I still use FB so what can you do? Just be aware of the ways they are manipulating you to be more addicted to their platform and proceed with caution.

The problem has become that we allow companies that are media companies within our changing society to hide behind the wall of private ownership when they aren’t even truly private.. we’ve seen the internal push to silence and ban opposing views within these companies and yet we let them hide behind a wall of corporate fascism.

It already is and has been for a while. Go look at Taofledermaus on YouTube. Watch some of their videos about the struggles they've had just to be able to post videos that test ammo. Hell, they don't even show a gun in the video much anymore.

This may be the most naive statement I've seen from you possibly ever.

Which outlets would have accurately conveyed his message? When do you plan on answering that?
