Do Honda Accord and Toyota Camry owners get into beefs like this too?

Ford fanbois are always insecure and butthurt. But hey, at least they can brag about their $70k sticker price.

I can't believe the tailgate stayed closed.
That's essentially the same truck they sell today too.

Retards like you are what make these threads unbearable.

dude, that is a Gen 2 Tundra and that video is old. Toyota is on gen 3 now and gen 4 will be out in 2019 or 2020
Have they changed the frame since 2008/2007? I thought they just kind of updated the grill and wheels.
I know Toyota has a good power train, but that jiggly frame is seriously bad.

If you want the videos, they are driven at slightly different speeds.
The frequency of the bumps is slightly faster than the suspension reacts on the tundra. The f150 is driven at the limit of its suspension. Another 2mph or so and it would look the same.
The tailgates are an integral stressed part of the body. And, given it's location, actually absorbs quite a bit of the frame flex.

Cool tail gate but still GMC shite truck.

Still need superglue to hold it together in 5 years when it falls apart.

I have a yota.
But a swinging tailgate is great to reach deeper in the bed for stuff.
Fact. All trucks should have that tailgate

Toyota really doesn't update their powertrains or convenience features very often. This contributes to (arguably) better reliability, but it also means they continue to lag in sales.
IIRC, they are on pace for about 115K units, which is about where they've been for the past 3 yrs or so.
After being around several 100K Tundras, I see that they are solid, but can have issues. Air pumps stick out as an expensive failure. Their interior pieces all still work, but the beds are really flex-y.

If you use it to haul larger items, it's a negative.
On an SUV, yes, they all should be swing gates. Can't get behind it on trucks.

Just popped in to say I own a RAM.

How? It appears to function exactly like a normal tailgate if you want it to.

So it can fold down too?
I didn't realize that.
I 100% support it if it does both
