LOL...I got this camera footage from my mom when she came home from ODS. All the Navy Nurse Corps officers were given a copy of it.

The SA-2 "Guideline" missile shot at him are about the size of a telephone pole. So imagine that telephone pole coming up to meet you.... SA-2 Guideline
This is the same missile that took down B-52 BUFFs in Vietnam. And if I'm not mistaken...the one that took down Gary Powers in the U-2.

One of my 4x4 rigs had an internal cage. The cage mounts went through the body to the frame behind seats, right where the seat belt mounts went through. Rather than remake a stock mount, had a buddy who was an engineer tell me required material size to hold a 300lb driver. Built rig to be able to blast down pipelines without fear if I lost it and hit a tree.
Bored one Monday, decide to drive it to work. Mile from my driveway someone pulled out in front of me. With all the tubework, impact would have killed them. With all the travel, I was immediately on two wheels and avoided impact hanging front and rear tire over their hood. Couldn't correct or I would have hit a family. Pulled it hard left into a roll.
Flipped twice before coming down at a weird angle and being thrown sideways hard into the belt. It sneered the mount off. Next impact my head smashed the roof outward, and at some point I went into the seat hard enough to compression fracture a few vertebrae.
Then I hit a tree with the tire carrier.
My grip on the steering wheel pulled the wheel upward until it bent the steering shaft.
It was....quite a ride. Have pics of pectoral damage, the bruising is really something special
