Wonder if the fire that burned next to the grain silos coupled with the heat mix and grain dust created the massive vacuum explosion.

Holy shite! A four digit death count would not surprise me.

I'll be shocked if it isn't a 4 digit death count. That building beside it looked at least 10 stories.

I think it will wind up being in the mid five digit range based on the size of the impact zone.

I'm in the glass business, and the first thing I thought of was how many people would be cut by flying glass. I've had my fair share of tempered glass blow up in my face and it cuts the shite out of you with a 1000 tiny cuts, and that's without a shock wave blasting it towards you. Those pictures are hard to look at.

I believe that would be the objects that prevent the ship from colliding with the port when it's docked.

At least that large building beside it was a grain silo and not a residential or office building. I was thinking there would be a few hundred people in that building killed instantly.

That grain silo holding up at all probably saved hundreds of lives.

The entire shipping complex is completely destroyed. I don't know how these folks are going to get goods in unless they allow goods in from Israel and Syria otherwise people are going to starve to death.

I'm betting the death count is far lower than we're expecting. Three digits would be my guess. That's based more on the counts always being high than it is the size of the explosion, though.

The injuries, however, will probably be massive I'd think(mostly broken glass).
