Extra Breakfast Food for Corporate Meeting, Homeless Shelter?

It looks like we will have a ton of extra breakfast food for a meeting in New Orleans (downtown). Is there a homeless shelter that'll come pick it up to serve to the people they take care of?

It’s New Orleans. Just put it on the sidewalk out front and about five dozen homeless drug addicts will attack it like vultures within minutes.

Just drop it off under the Pontchartrain Expressway

They probably wont take it for liability purposes. they like prepackaged or prepared there. Better off handing it out yourself

Bridgehouse on Earhart takes it.

I think it's hard to get a shelter to accept your food.

Slightly different angle but my dad's business is fairly close to a frito-lay distribution center. The delivery drivers pick up unsold products from store that are past the best used by date. They throw out semi truck loads of product daily and can't/won't supply shelters, homeless, etc..
